Brandie currently serves as an US Army staff sergeant and audio engineer section leader with the West Point Band, located at the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY. From 2006 to 2010, Brandie served as head audio engineer at GRAMMY winning Sono Luminus, an independent classical label in Virginia boasting a catalog of over 90 artists and 400 titles. A graduate of the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL, Brandie received a Bachelor of Science in Music Engineering Technology with a minor in Electrical Engineering. With a strong background in percussion performance, Brandie is comfortable on either side of the glass as she has performed with various orchestras, chamber ensembles, and rock/pop groups in South Carolina, Florida, and Virginia.

Her accolades include a 2010 GRAMMY Award for “Best Engineered Album, Classical”, engineering credits on 2010 and 2008 GRAMMY nominated albums, 2005 Downbeat Award for “Best Engineering for a Live Recording” and an “Award of Excellence” from the 2007 Audio Engineering Society High Resolution Recording Competition.

Her professional affiliations include membership with the Audio Engineering Society. She is also a voting member of The Recording Academy (Producers and Engineers Wing).
