Fred Willard started in broadcast at the age of 13 as a video camera operator for the local Community College. Today his specialties include surround sound and high power transmission facilities. After a few years of travel around the country and world in the 1990's installing stations and facilities, he decided to settle as Chief Engineer for Univision Washington, DC. Fred graduated from Towson University with a BS in Communications. He is a life member and CPBE/8VSB/CBNT certified in the Society of Broadcast Engineers; and member of IEEE Broadcast Technology Society, SMPTE, and AES.
