I was born in Charleston, South Carolina in 1990 and for the last three years I've been a student in Emeryville, California at Ex'pression College for Digital Arts. On October 3, 2013 I graduated at the top of my class at Ex'pression.
During my studies I have interned at Michael Romanowski Mastering and Coast Recorders in San Francisco as well as working for The Tape Project in Pacifica, California.
I have gained experience both in the studio and in live sound environments which prompted my interest in research into human perception.
Last year at the AES Convention in San Francisco in 2012 I met Chuck Knowledge after his seminar and asked if he would mentor me in my final year of studies. I became involved in the Sound Sense program and approached several companies and individuals who have assisted me with this research.
I am presently considering furthering my studies at a graduate school.
