Jeffrey Ratterman

Jeff recently began a career in the audio industry as an instructor at Front Range Community College in Fort Collins, Colorado, where he teaches Audio Applications and Music Production. He also engineers and produces in both studio and live settings throughout the Denver / Boulder region, working out of Elevation Sound Studios in Westminster.
After attending Miami University of Ohio for music performance, Jeff continued his education at the University of Colorado Denver, earning a Master of Science in Recording Arts (MSRA). While studying in Denver, he became interested in the history of recording and its role in audio education.
As a member of the AES, Jeff has co-authored a paper presented at the 128th Convention in London, and served as secretary for his student section from 2010-2011.
Jeff enjoys bicycling, traveling, cooking, and cartoons while spending time with his wife Molly, a Spanish Literature doctoral student in Boulder.
