Robert Oldfield

Rob is currently a research fellow in the Acoustics Research Centre at the University of Salford where he obtained his PhD in wave field synthesis. Rob has since been working as part of the recently finished FascinatE Project which was an EU FP7 funded project looking at interactive, format-agnostic broadcasting. Rob’s main research interests are spatial audio capture and reproduction for broadcasting and object-based audio.
