Tony Scott

Tony Scott was born in the Bronx, New York, in 1964. He received a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from New York Institute of Technology in 1986.

After graduation, Mr. Scott was employed in the medical ultrasound industry. In the 1990’s, he worked for IPC Information Systems developing electronic and electroacoustic devices widely deployed in the telecommunications industry. In the 2000’s, he developed proprietary teleconferencing systems for the financial services industry, as well as multimedia systems for auditoriums and theaters.

In 2006, Mr. Scott founded Octave Labs, LLC, providing expertise in the areas of electronics, electroacoustics, test and measurement, and telecommunications. Research and development services offered include analog and digital circuit design, PCB layout, firmware and software development, and electronic packaging. Octave Labs is also a provider of telecommunications test equipment.

Mr. Scott has continued his studies in the areas of electroacoustic, electronic, and software engineering. He enjoys playing guitar, writing and recording songs with friends in his spare time.
