AES To Amsterdam In Milestone Year
New York, NY -- This year marks the 60th Anniversary of the first formal meeting of the Audio Engineering Society (AES) in New York, and the first major event of this milestone year kicks off just one month from now, with AES Amsterdam, the 124th AES Convention. The annual AES European Pro Audio Expo and Convention will take place at the Amsterdam RAI Center from May 17-20, with exhibits and extensive technical program presented under the banner theme, "New Horizons In Audio."

Amsterdam -- The technical program devised by the 124th AES Committee truly represents the variety of occupations, fields of interest and relevant issues in audio today. Live Sound A Focus At AES Amsterdam
Amsterdam -- For the past few years, as the demand for high-quality sound reinforcement has not only endured with a strong touring business, but also increased with new opportunities in the corporate and house-of-worship markets, the AES Convention Committees have built more and more live sound-oriented events and workshops into their technical programs. Live sound will again be a focus of the upcoming 124th AES Convention in Amsterdam, where a special workshop series will cover all the ins and outs of live sound engineering.
