• The keynote speech will be given by Albert Scharf, retired General Manager of the Bayerischer Rundfunk (Bavarian Radio and TV) in München and former President of the EBU. His theme will be:
  ‘Social Communication in the 21st Century - Future of Mass Communications’
  
• Awards will be presented to those who have excelled in the audio profession or have rendered outstanding services to the AES
