The Residenz in Munich was for centuries the residence and center of power of the Bavarian dukes, electors and kings of the house of Wittelsbach. With some 130 display rooms, it is one of Europes most important museums for interior decoration. During a special guided tour, you will get an extensive impression of the splendid halls and you will see the Antiquarium, where only specially invited guests are welcome. This is a magnificent Renaissance-Hall, where 300 busts and numerous wall-paintings are on display. Additionally, you will visit the treasury, which, with its 1200 jewels, is one of the most important collections of its kind.
