T12: CBS/Westwood One

Last fall WCBS News Radio moved into new facilities at the CBS Broadcast Center. From a totally analog world of tape carts and reels, the station transformed overnight to digital audio consoles and mass digital audio storage for all news 'actualities' and commercials. We visited the facility's live 'ON AIR' operation and national master control.
