The AES Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee’s Editorial Initiative seeks original, unpublished, informative and inspirational profiles of audio professionals across diverse genres, embracing emergent audio fields and research, and celebrating contributions to audio science, practice and to the audio community from individuals of all races, gender and gender identities, physical abilities, ages, and nationalities.
The Committee also welcomes submissions based on personal experience working in audio (success / hardship / aspiration / mentorship / etc.) and/or article-type submissions about audio issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Submissions will be posted on a dedicated section of the AES website as a collection as 500- to 800-word posts with one to three photographs. Additional content may be submitted and will be linked from the post.
We hope you will embrace this initiative and tell the world about your personal heroes, or your experience working in audio, or a D&I issue that is near and dear to your heart. The initiative can only be successful with crowd-sourced contributions.
With your help, we can create a resource that can continually grow over time and develop into a destination location.
