I became Director of Engineering, CMT. Later our facility broadened its responsibilities beyond CMT support which included a Network Operations Center - disaster recovery facility in Nashville, and long form programming formatting for all Viacom channels. Viacom and CBS merged in 2021 to become ViacomCBS, Inc.CBS Interactive has been added to our responsibilities which includes studios and post production facilities.
President of Television Design Consultants, founded in 1985, a television and radio system design and integration company.
I was contacted by the AES Nashville Section to join and serve on their committee to add the broadcast experience to the mostly studio audio engineers that were currently members. Since then I have enjoyed creating our "Spring Mixer", an area school mixing competition that has been very popular. Being a musician, meeting and getting know some of the industry icons has been a very humbling and educational experience for me.
