Announcing the results of the 125th AES Convention Student Recording Competition in San Francisco.

It is our pleasure to announce that the new SDA North and Latin America Vice-Chair is MeiLing Loo from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. MeiLing will serve in this position until October 2009 when a new Vice-Chair will be elected, and then will become the Chair until October 2010.

"An initial validation of individualised crosstalk cancellation filters for binaural perceptual experiments" by Alastair Moore (student author and presenter), Anthony Tew, and Rozenn Nicol has been selected for the 125th Convention Student Technical Paper Award.
