September 25, 2013 at 7:30 pm

Location: 9 South College Street, RTVC 639, Athens, Ohio 45701

Moderated by: Kyle P. Snyder

Speaker(s): David Young

David Young is a distinguished 2012 MDIA alumnus who produces original music for a variety of media, including games. He published a paper as part of the 49th International AES Conference (Audio for Games) that examines what the future may hold for adaptive music in video games.

It discusses technical developments in music production software, game audio middleware, and gaming interfaces, and what these could mean for dynamic music systems. We're excited to have David back in Athens for an evening for a presentation of his paper! It's worth noting that his 49th International Conference Paper built opon a senior thesis, which is publically available in OhioLink ETD.
