Speaker(s): Jim Baldree, Re-Recording Mixer
Society’s next regular meeting is on Zoom Monday Nov 8, 2021 at 7pm.
The AES Fall Convention is now history, and we’ll report on some of the many presentations and workshops there. Re-recording mixer Jim Baldree has agreed to join us for our post-business meeting discussion. He’ll be filling us in on the ins and outs of some of the multitude of delivery protocols and mixing formats he encounters from mono to Atmos as he mixes major TV series for HBO, National Geographic, and Discovery among many others. This is an important part of professional audio-for-video work but rarely discussed in depth.
AES membership isn’t required to log in to the Nov. 8th meeting, and students at any level are welcomed. If you’re interested in audio, please join us. It’s always a pleasure.
Login info below. Thanks, and we'll see you there!

P.S.: Don’t forget our gear sale event that will come up right before the meeting at Webster University's Media Commons (Sverdrup, Room 112), on November 6th, from 10am-1pm. Webster is having their Gear Garage Sale the same day, so there will be plenty to look at, and people to talk to. Come on by!
