The AES Atlanta Section held a live sound workshop that covered many topics relevant to contemporary live audio technology. Subjects covered included: in-ear and wedge based monitor mixes, DSP based power amplification, wireless microphone systems in an urban environment, live multi-track recording, and working with artists and talent in everyday situations. Speakers included Bill Thrasher (Thrasher Design Group INC.), Casey Johnson (Vision 2 Marketing), Scott Hough, James Willis (Vision 2 Marketing), and Chris Adler (Millar Electronics). The event was moderated by AES Atlanta Committee Member Kent Morris (Cornerstone Media Group).
