This was the 6th Annual Student Workshop sponsored by the AES Atlanta Chapter. There were four classes held throughout the day. The classes covered several topics necessary for a solid foundation in audio production. The topics covered were: Pro Tools Fundamentals (taught by Michael Wynne), Mixing Fundamentals (taught by Ed Seay), Fundamental Microphone Techniques (taught by Jeff Brugger, Arno Baars, and Bob Gillepsie of Turner Studios), and Critical Listening (taught by Jim Anderson). Lastly there was a panel discussion moderated by Selah Abrams and Ed Welly (Turner Broadcasting). The discussion topic was on careers in audio.
