On Tuesday November 24, 7PM Buenos Aires Time, Audio Expertos 2020 continued!
In this second day, our Audio & Electroacustics Department showed the work of a year. First, Josefina Martino showed us the basics of pre-production, recording and post-production for video, based on the filming traditional workflow. With a high level of detail, al the classic steps were described and showed with constant parallelisms with the music production chain, assuming that the main part of the audience came from that kind of work, and also of course with that kind of thinking/making philosophy.
After a break were Pablo Bucci from Bucci Clásicos showed some of his great equipment (thanks Pablo!), it was the turn of our Microphone Team: Mauro Pires, Maximiliano Osuna, our auxiliary advisor Federico López and special guest-star Horacio Rico showed how to build a capacitive microphone with spectral selection capabilities, the 2.0 version. This project started in 2019, and in this pandemic situation it evolved in a more detailed theoretical procedure due the impossibility to go our lab in the school to continue the hand-made work. In that context, Mauro showed all the acoustic based concepts related, and Maximiliano al the electronics —with specific contributions from Federico- along with the 3D graphic design of our friend Horacio.
