Summary

Tonight we had a great turnout for our weekly "Production Team" meeting. We welcomed some new students to our Student Chapter of AES. We discussed what our upcoming events such as the "Anotomy of a Mix" clinic with Darrell Thorp this upcoming Friday and then the "Gear Expo" coming up this Saturday where manufactures will be coming to CRAS to set up, demo and talk about their products. The manufactures include; SSL, Telefunken, Rode, Cloud, AEA, BAE, Focusrite, Auralex, Mojave and Native Instruments. We also discusses how new students can get can get more involved with the CRAS AES. Before the meeting adjourned, we asked students what they would like to see happen for future events. Some of the responses were: Touring the Saltmine Studio Oasis and hosting a clinic on "How To Tune Drums". Finally, we were proud to announce that David Scheirman, AES Vice President for the Western Region US/Canada, will be attending the Gear Expo and would like to meet the Officer Holders of the CRAS Student Chapter of AES. This made everyone excited and we are looking for to meeting David in person and showing him around our wonderful school.
