The AES Atlanta Section held it's 3rd annual live sound workshop at The Red Clay Theater in Duluth, GA on March 22, 2014. The speakers included: Tom Danley and Mike Hedden of Danley Labs, Bill Thrasher of the Thrasher Design Group, Jorge Corvea of ITM, Mark Meding of Aviom, and Ryan Shelton of DigiCo. Tom and Mike discussed the use of loudspeakers in live settings for both indoor and outdoor events. Bill Thrasher along with Jorge Corvea discussed live event production and advances in technology for live multi-track recording. Mark Meding of Aviom talked about the advances in personal monitoring systems for talent and performers. The last presentation was lead by Ryan Shelton of DigiCo who demonstrated mixing for a live production in a modern context. The event was moderated by Kent Morris of the AES Atlanta Section.
