Other business or activities at the meeting: Discussed the 125th convention with the AES group. Topics such as connections made, panel discussions, recording competition, and election results were brought up.

Summary

Steven Van Dyne led a Skype meeting with Guy Charbonneau, one of the leading professionals in mobile recording through the 80's and 90's, to today. Everything from his business model, to technical setups and arrangements, and a few of his recent gigs came up. He gave us a full tour of his facility and mobile recording truck.

We then moved on to the second part of our meeting, to talk about the AES 135th convention in NYC. Shaun Livingston, Kyle Snyder, and Steven Van Dyne talked about their experiences, what they gained, how their presence benefitted our school, the student party at Avatar, and many of the events that took place there. It went well, and sparked the interest of many of our students to possibly attend LA next year.
