Refer a Friend - You'll Both Benefit

Share the benefits and status of AES membership with your friends and colleagues. When they join the AES community, you'll both be rewarded.

Rewards can be used towards discounted membership, Convention and Conference registrations and AES swag.

How it works:

1. Any existing Member, including Student and Associate members qualifies.
2. When registering, the New Member enters your name and/or member number as the Referring Member on the Membership Application form.
3. The AES then issues a Discount Code worth 10% of the dues rate to the Referring Member and a second Discount Code to the New (or long lapsed) Member, also worth 10% of the dues paid by the new Member.
4. Accumulated Discount Credits can be used for anything you can purchase at aes.org including AES products, services, event registration, and Membership dues.

The Fine Print

• A "New Member" is any person who has not been a Member (of any grade) for at least 3 years. Previous Members whose dues have been expired more than 3 years DO qualify as New Members in this program.
• The Discount Credit received by the Referring Member is 10% of the value of each referred membership.
• The New Member receives a one-time Discount Credit of 10% of their initial annual dues rate.
• The individual 10% Discount Codes will be emailed separately to the Referring Member and New Member within 30 days of the New Member join date.
• Discount Credits expire after 2 years of issuance if not used.
• The Referring Member must be in good standing (dues paid).
• The New Member must provide the Referring Member's name and/or member number when they fill out the Membership Application. No "retroactive" referrals (after Membership Application is first submitted) will be accepted.
• The discount credits may not be transferred to any other person.
