Andy Wardle

Andy Wardle is currently a lecturer on the BSc(hons) Audio Engineering programme at the University of the Highlands and Islands based in Perth, UK. He has been involved in full time Audio education since 2002 with a focus on Live Sound, Digital and Analogue technologies, Acoustics and Employability, all of which inform his research interests.
Andy holds an MSc in Applied Acoustics (Merit) gained from the University of Derby, an Institute of Acoustics postgraduate diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control and (many years ago) a BSc(hons) in Applied Environmental Geology gained from the University of Portsmouth.
He has also holds Industry certifications in Networked audio, Electro-acoustic measurement, Systems prediction and modelling and Digital systems engineering.
Prior to 2002, Andy spent 8 years as a touring FOH / Monitor mix engineer and Systems technician. He has spent the last 6 years working seasonally as a freelance Audio engineer and consultant in festival noise, both on his own projects and for SPLtrack Environmental LTD.
