Eric Hamdan

Eric Hamdan is a Post Graduate Research student at the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research (ISVR) at the University of Southampton. Eric graduated with honours with a bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Computing and the Arts - Music (ICAM) from the University of California San Diego in 2011. Following his undergraduate studies, he worked at the California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology (Calit2) with the Sonic Arts Research and Development Group. Eric is currently pursuing a PhD at the ISVR under the supervision of Dr. Filippo Maria Fazi and Dr. Keith Holland. His project is focused on the improvement of personal 3D audio loudspeaker systems. His specific research interests include crosstalk cancellation, sound field control, psychoacoustics, binaural audio and loudspeaker arrays.
