Matthew Paradis

Matthew Paradis is a Senior R&D Engineer working in an audio focused team. He received a Masters Degree in Music Technology from the University of York in 2000 and completed a PhD on user interaction for real-time audio control while working at the University of York's Music Research Centre where he is an Honorary Research Associate.
Matthew’s work is focused on delivering new responsive, accessible and interactive audio experiences predominantly in the browser. He is currently leading an "Accessible & Personalised" audio work stream.
Matthew co-chairs the W3C Audio working group which oversees the specification of the Web Audio and Web Midi APIs.
