Michael Gray

Michael Gray earned his BA and MSLS degrees at the University of North Carolina. Until his retirement in 2010, he was head of Audio Services at the Voice of America in Washington, DC.
Michael has studied and written extensively on the history and preservation of recorded sound. His work has appeared in High Fidelity, The Absolute Sound, Stereo Souind (Japan), Fi Magazine, and other publications. In 2011, he received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association for Recorded Sound collections. He consults regularly for major record companies, and is Editor-in-Chief of Classical-Discography.org.
