Chungeun Kim studied electrical engineering in Seoul National University in Korea, Sound and Vibration in Southampton University, U.K., and psychoacoustic engineering University of Surrey, U.K. He then worked on a few EU projects as a postdoctoral researcher, with research areas covering spatial audio production and coding for multimedia streaming, auditory perception and quality evaluation, and physiology-based computational modelling of auditory processes and quality aspects. After his recent work on perception of HRTF-based binaural audio at Imperial College London and on the perceptual evaluation of audio source separation at University of Surrey, U.K, he is currently working as a senior engineer at Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe, U.K.
