Adrian Celestinos

Adrian Celestinos was born in Mexico City, Mexico, in 1972. In 2000 He received a Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering with honorable mention from the Universidad del Valle de Mexico, Mexico. In 2002 he received a Master’s degree in Acoustics from Aalborg University, Denmark and in 2007 he received a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Department of Electronic Systems, Section of Acoustics, Aalborg University. His research has been in the area of low-frequency sound reproduction with loudspeakers in rooms. His working experience has been in companies as Oticon A/S and Bang and Olufsen A/S in Denmark. Since May 2014 he has been senior DSP engineer at Samsung Research America in the Digital Media Solutions Lab at Valencia, California, performing research into digital signal processing applied to loudspeakers and audio in general for consumer electronics. Dr. Celestinos has interest in acoustics, signal processing, multichannel sound reproduction, and binaural technology. He has a passion for music and in his spare time plays electric guitar.
