Etienne Corteel

Etienne Corteel has received a Ph. D. degree in acoustics and signal processing from Paris 6 University, France in 2004 that was completed at IRCAM between 2002 and 2004.
He is working at L-Acoustics since 2017 as director of Scientific Outreach, building the bridge between L-Acoustics and the scientific and education communities, and establishing methodologies and best practices in Live Sound applications.
Etienne’s extensive industry experience includes posts spanning from research scientist at Studer Professional Audio and IRCAM to chief technology officer at sonic emotion. His research interest cover multiple audio fields, including immersive audio, acoustics and signal processing.
