Robert Boatright is the Chief Engineer for Harman International’s CTO office. Recently, he served as Director of Automotive Networking where he was responsible for putting the world’s first high-volume Ethernet AVB automotive infotainment system into production.

The co-author of "Automotive Ethernet: The Definitive Guide", he has been intimately involved with the Ethernet AVB since its inception and found and chaired IEEE 1722, IEEE 1722.1, and IEEE 1733 working groups and was instrumental to the founding of the AVnu Alliance.
