Mark F. Collins, Director of Projection Technology for Marcus Theatres. He is an exhibition industry veteran with over 30 years experience, the last 10 with Marcus Theatres. Collins oversees the design, installation and service of all cinema projection and sound equipment for Marcus Theatres, a circuit with over 50 locations and nearly 700 screens. Collins was instrumental in the development and deployment of Marcus Theatres' pioneering Premium Large Format UltraScreen®. He is currently designing and installing immersive sound in the UltraScreen Theatres. Collins was the former Director of Technology Services for MTS, responsible for early D Cinema installations efforts in both US and Europe. He is on several committees of the SMPTE and sits on the Inter-Society (ISDCF) and NATO Technology Committee.
