Dramastic Audio will be showing a prototype of our G Platinum Studio Computer. The new system completely replaces the old E/G computer and power supply. No modification to the console is necessary. The G Platinum processor connects to your console via the 50pin ribbon cables and to your Mac via USB. Your iPad then connects via WiFi. The iPad is now your GUI and displays the recall as well as session and mix data with high resolution graphics. This data can also be viewed on the MAC. The software and all session data resides on your MAC. The G Platinum Studio Computer is modular and can be configured to your specific console. Each card handles 8 channels of I/O. (A stereo channel is considered 1 channel) There is also a built in SMPTE generator / reader. The hardware and software have been designed from scratch and will provide a fresh and modern interface to your console. We will also be showing both Rack and 500 version Obsidian Stereo Compressors.
