How to get to the MOC Convention Center
Maps in PDF
München is the hub of Southern Germany in many respects. Railways connect the city to all neighboring countries and the international airport serves many international airlines. It is also at the crossroads of Germanys elaborate motorway Autobahn system.
From the airport
- By taxi (between EUR 40 and 50)
- By train: Take line S8 to city center and then transfer to U6 to stop Kieferngarten; from there it is a 5 minutes walk. A day pass for all local trains costs EUR 9.
From central railway station - Hauptbahnhof
Take any of a number of underground railway lines to stop Marienplatz and transfer to U6.
By car
When on Autobahn A9 take exit Freimann and follow signs MOC. There is underground (paid) parking at the MOC with ample space.
Taxis
Taxis are available around the clock. Tips are not included in the fare shown on the taxi meter. Note: Not all taxi drivers accept credit cards, so inquiring in advance may avoid discussions at arrival.
Shuttle buses
During convention time free shuttle buses will run between the MOC and major AES hotels.
