Rodrigo Meirelles has been working in the audio industry for more than 20 years, in its various art forms such as music, TV, film and sound art. He worked for Globo, one of the world's largest media companies, for 10 years as the Sound Executive Supervisor, period when milestones such as the Brazilian loudness standardization, the implementation of immersive audio technologies such as Dolby Atmos and MPEG-H 3D Audio, and 9 International Emmy Awards for its production studios were achieved. Currently, Rodrigo is a tenure-track Assistant Professor at the Sidney Poitier Film School at Arizona State University, in charge of the Sound curriculum, and the Sonora Immersive Audio Lab at the Media and Immersive eXperience Center (aka MIX Center).
